Whether noticing unusual neighborhood activity, interrupting crimes in progress, or inadvertently assisting police pursuits—such as an Ohio sanitation worker who recently uncovered a fleeing suspect hiding inside a trash bin during a police chase—these workers prove time and again that their service extends far past keeping streets clean.
