The annual SPOTY awards recognize outstanding safety professionals who demonstrate leadership, innovation and measurable impact in advancing workplace safety during their careers.

The 2026 J. J. Keller® SPOTY winners were selected by a panel of judges from J. J. Keller’s staff of safety and compliance experts through an extensive nomination, application and interview process. The winners represent three distinct company sizes:

  • Small Business Category (<200 employees)

Crystal Donaldson, Safety Manager, Advanced Blending Solutions, LLC, based in Wallace, Michigan. Advanced Blending Solutions, LLC is a manufacturer of and designer of material handling, blending, repelletization, desiccant drying and controls for the plastics industry worldwide.

  • Medium Business Category (200–5,000 employees)

Kathi Porter, Industrial Demolition Safety Officer, B&B Wrecking and Excavating, based in Cleveland, Ohio. B&B Wrecking and Excavating is a full-service demolition company performing industrial, commercial and residential demolition as well as dismantlement, interior strip-outs, environmental remediation, and asset liquidation services.
