Greybull Stewardship has acquired Mid-West Textile, a used textile collection and recycling company, expanding its exposure to businesses focused on textile reuse, recycling, and waste reduction. Founded in 1982, Mid-West Textile has operated in the used textile industry for more than four decades. The company specializes in collecting, sorting, and grading used clothing and other textiles, helping extend the useful life of reusable materials and divert textiles from the waste stream.

Mid-West Textile is one of the larger textile recyclers in the U.S. and provides services to thrift retail stores, fiber reclamation operators, and industrial wiping cloth suppliers. The company also operates multiple Thrift Town retail stores across Texas and New Mexico, giving it a direct retail presence alongside its broader collection and recycling operations.

Greybull plans to provide Mid-West Textile with additional capital and operational support as the company pursues its next stage of growth. The investment firm also sees opportunities to expand the Thrift Town retail footprint over time.
