TOMRA Recycling continues to strengthen its Americas organization with the addition of Chase Bullock and Joel Andujo to the field sales team. Bullock serves as the area sales manager, southeast, while Andujo covers the west sales region for the company. The new team members allow TOMRA Recycling to bring deep applications experience and resources to support the recycling community and evolving market needs.
“Both Chase and Joel bring valuable industry and commercial experience to the organization,” comments Michelle Landon, senior vice president, head of Americas for TOMRA Recycling. “On the heels of opening our North American Test and Training Center, strengthening our commercial team across the Americas reflects our continued investment to being closer to the recycling community we serve.”
Chase Bullock brings to TOMRA 12 years of valuable sales and procurement experience, working for North America’s largest waste solutions provider. He began his career in local sales for the company’s waste and recycling services division in the Atlanta, Ga., area, before being promoted to managing material recovery for the southeast region. He served as the go-to person for customers with recycling questions and worked with companies to analyze waste inflow.
“My previous work history allowed me to develop a strong foundational understanding of sorting equipment and TOMRA optical sorter technology,” offers Bullock. “The market continues to evolve toward adopting more automation technologies, especially the type of deep learning artificial intelligence of our GAINnext™ technology and the PolyPerception waste analysis platform. I have always been passionate about technology and recycling, so I’m excited to be working with a known leader in technology with the TOMRA brand.”
Joel Andujo offers more than 20 years of experience in industrial and capital equipment sales, account management and team leadership. His industry work includes selling optical sorting equipment to the food industry, giving Andujo a deep understanding of sorting technology for customer collaboration. For the last 10 years, he worked in full-line capital equipment sales for the packaging industry, giving him vast automation equipment experience.Ìý
“Collaborating with customers to solve problems to complicated situations is what drives me. I look to use my previous experience and training to be a trusted advisor for customers in helping them find the right sorting solutions,” mentions Andujo. “TOMRA is the leading brand in sensor-based sorting and has earned a reputation as a trusted lifecycle partner. My time in the industry has given me the ability to learn the technology, experience the value of digital sorting and recognize trends. I’m excited to work for TOMRA and help our customers succeed with their businesses.”
Further commenting on the new sales hires, Landon said: “As the recycling industry continues to evolve, strong local relationships and market knowledge are increasingly important. Solidifying our field sales force with Chase and Joel gives us flexibility to strengthen industry connections. Our vision is to combine that local presence with our broader technology, digital and service capabilities, helping the recycling community navigate change, improve performance and prepare for the future.”
Both salesmen will work from field offices within their territories with Bullock working from an office in Georgia, while Andujo will be strategically located in Southern California.
